Though I have been gone a bit, I can never get your "angel" out of my mind. I can not forget the pains I see of you, of these parents having to move on after losing a child. I see it in "Jillys" mom (Deb) (how ironic there are 2 of the same name, mother/child.) I must get to her site also. I think of my Goddaughter every moment and in those moments I think of your Rachel, and I cry for her too. I read these stories of incredible children. I cry and feel bad for myself, then remember how lucky I am. I turn my tears to you instead because there are always tears when I read your "Rachel's" beautifull site! Tears because I know the pain on a mother's face, the long journey and the bad things. Even when my friend is being happy I know there is always sadness beneath forever, nothing can erase that. I know every young person you see or jilly's mom sees isn't the same anymore. Though I am "on the out side looking in" I never forget, if I feel so bad I can only imagine how you Moms feel,,,and so I pray for you daily, I pray for your "angel" to be safe in God's arms. I pray for cures from these terrible cancers/diseases. I pray for all our children, I pray for this "Memorial site", yet I am thankful it exists because of people like you who continue to encourage people like me who have not lost a child, that the memories are forever & Love, never really dies.. These "angel's of God" must always be remembered, their lives were important and are important. They left this earth with incredible impact. And so I guess I just wanted to let you know that your "Beautiful Rachel" is always with my "silly jilly" in my thoughts. And you, a mom I always think about & pray that when your moments are sad that you know people really care. I cannot know the dept of your pain but I do know that your days are filled with thoughts of your daughter and behind a smile, well, there is still pain. But when we speak of these "angels" there is certainly "laughter" which I found long ago to be so important. So durng these times I say "remember the laughter" and I think of something "silly"... Peace & Love to you & your Family & always your "angel"....angel "silly jillys" Godmother :)
